Making a donation to Hermes

Hermes Trust is only able to offer the assistance it does as a result of the generosity of others. If you would like to make a donation into either its grants programme or its loan fund we would be delighted to hear from you. The requests we get for help invariably outstrip funds available.

Donations into the Hermes grants programme

Funds donated into our grants programme are passed on as grants to the various anthroposophical projects that apply to us for help. If you would like your donation to be used for a particular type of activity, we shall of course be happy to respect your wishes, provided they are in keeping with Hermes Trust's own charitable objects.

Donations into the revolving loan fund

If you would like to make a donation into our revolving loan fund, then this money will be used again and again by projects. All borrowers are of course subject to a thorough financial assessment by Hermes before any loan is agreed.

In either case, if you are a UK taxpayer, it would be greatly appreciated if you could download, complete and sign a Gift Aid declaration and post it back to us. This will enable the value of your donation to be significantly increased.
